Pattern is an ecommerce accelerator that helps global brands grow across marketplaces. We're looking for a Staff AI Engineer to own critical systems and shape the technical direction of our intelligence ecosystem.

Location: Pune Division, Maharashtra, India (Hybrid)

Experience:

8+ years of experience building, operating, and evolving production software systems
Track record of owning systems and making architectural decisions

Qualification:

Deep experience building production software systems
Strong AI/ML engineering skills

Role Focus: • Own one or two systems end-to-end: understand users and stakeholders, drive architecture, implementation, operational health, and evolution • Drive cross-system technical decisions • Design and build production AI systems • Set engineering standards through code reviews, design documents, and architectural RFCs • Partner with product, design, and stakeholders to frame problems worth solving • Identify and eliminate systemic bottlenecks
