The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join their AI team in Hyderabad, India, to develop backend and full stack systems for AI-driven search capabilities.

Role: Senior Software Engineer I - Full Stack/ Backend - AI Interfaces

Location: Hyderabad

Experience:

6+ years of software engineering experience
5+ years experience with C# and .NET
3+ years experience with Python
3+ years experience with Redis
2+ years experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
Experience with event driven architectures (Kafka)
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD and Jenkins pipelines using Scala
Experience working in fast-paced SaaS or technology-driven environment

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Role Focus: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for search functionality • Lead implementation of frontend components for search results • Develop and maintain distributed backend systems ensuring high performance and reliability • Implement and optimize search and AI-driven semantic algorithms and indexing • Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and product teams to integrate AI-driven search • Monitor and optimize search performance for low-latency query responses • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers • Work closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams • Stay updated with latest search technology trends and conduct research for innovation

Additional responsibilities:

Collaborate with product management and design to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Drive feature development from concept to launch
Collaborate effectively with teams across different regions including China team and adapt to China timezone

Nice to have:

Full stack development experience
Experience with DDD or feature toggle (Launch Darkly)
Experience with NewRelic, Snowflake, Ansible, Ninjia2
Experience deploying containerized applications into Kubernetes
Expertise in search platforms like ElasticSearch or Apache Solr
Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and semantic search
Scrum and JIRA experience
