Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience including production systems
• Experience developing AI/ML applications including LLM-powered applications, applied machine learning, data-intensive applications, intelligent automation, or agentic systems

Qualification:

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience

Role Focus:

• Build, deploy, and maintain AI/ML applications supporting automation, insight, and action
• Write maintainable, well-tested code
• Support model and framework integration
• Build APIs and services
• Develop data and application workflows
• Contribute to deployment, monitoring, documentation, and production support
• Ensure AI applications are secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned to enterprise standards
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, engineers, product partners, platform teams, security teams, and business stakeholders
• Break down business and technical requirements into engineering tasks
• Deliver practical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional partners
• Work independently on defined workstreams
• Contribute to strong engineering practices within the team

Additional responsibilities:

• Partner with Lead and Principal Engineers to evaluate technical options
• Identify implementation risks and resolve engineering roadblocks
• Improve reusable AI engineering patterns
• Stay current with developments in AI, machine learning, LLMs, agentic systems, and modern software engineering practices
• Explain technical concepts clearly to engineers, Data Scientists, product partners, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to the technical strength of the team
