Experience:

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience
• At least 2 years focused on AI/ML or GenAI applications
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications, agents, or chatbots in production environments
• Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and LLM integration patterns
• Strong Python development skills
• Experience with API integration and building systems coordinating multiple services
• Background in enterprise software, ERP systems, or complex business process automation preferred

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field
• Certifications in AI/ML from major cloud providers or Anthropic/OpenAI

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI agents automating ERP processes
• Implement MCP tool integration for agent interaction with ERP systems
• Build multi-step agent workflows with decision branching and error recovery
• Develop agent patterns for enterprise scenarios
• Implement confidence-based routing for agent autonomy vs human escalation
• Create and maintain agent evaluation frameworks
• Design and optimize system prompts and prompt templates
• Implement prompt versioning and A/B testing
• Create guardrail prompts for policy compliance and tone
• Design context window strategies and dynamic context assembly
• Build conversation memory systems
• Develop context compression and summarization techniques
• Integrate retrieved knowledge with conversation context
• Integrate with LLMs through LiteLLM gateway
• Implement streaming responses and robust error handling
• Develop tool-calling implementations for ERP and external services
• Implement response parsing and validation
• Monitor and optimize LLM usage metrics
• Implement guardrails architecture including input validation and output filtering
• Develop audit logging for agent decisions
• Create fallback behaviors for edge cases

Additional responsibilities:

• Collaborate with backend engineers, data engineers, and UX designers
• Stay current with rapidly evolving GenAI landscape
• Maintain production reliability and safety for enterprise clients
• Document prompt patterns, anti-patterns, and best practices
• Ensure clear and precise communication for prompt engineering

Nice to have:

• Experience with Pydantic AI framework
• Familiarity with MCP for tool integration
• Experience with LiteLLM or similar LLM gateway tools
• Knowledge of ReState, Temporal, or similar workflow orchestration
• Experience building RAG-enhanced applications
• Understanding of vector databases and embedding models
• Experience with evaluation frameworks for LLM applications
• Familiarity with Claude-specific features
• Knowledge of enterprise security patterns
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS)
