Experience:

• 3+ years of customer-facing experience in the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions
• Experience leading strategic, customer-facing initiatives
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to drive successful business outcomes
• Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects at once
• Annual travel up to 25%

Qualification:

• B.S. degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or comparable degree/experience

Responsibilities:

• Research and use state-of-the-art Gen AI and machine learning techniques to deliver customer solutions
• Work directly with customers to understand business and technical needs
• Design and deliver AI solutions that solve customer problems
• Build and deploy Gen AI and machine learning solutions from use case scoping and data exploration through model development and deployment
• Design custom approaches using state-of-the-art tools to deliver business value and inform Snorkel tooling evolution
• Create augmented real-world datasets and comprehensive evaluation workflows
• Ensure model reliability, transparency, and stakeholder trust
• Forge and manage relationships with customer leadership and stakeholders
• Collaborate with pre-sales Solutions and Product teams to map customer needs to capabilities and guide project setup
• Work with other Applied AI Engineers to standardize solutions and contribute to internal tooling and best practices
• Lead stakeholder education on quantitative capabilities and solution tradeoffs
• Serve as the voice of customers for new AI paradigms and data science workflows
• Share customer feedback with product teams
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many enablement workshops

Additional responsibilities:

• Translate repeatable real-world challenges into reusable solution recipes, workflows, best practices, and platform-level capabilities
• Help define Snorkel’s Applied AI tooling
• Keep up to date with AI research
• Bridge AI technology and business value
• Stay naturally curious about infrastructure underpinning the Applied AI stack end-to-end
• Prioritize roadmap gaps with product and solutions teams
