Fluent Software Group, part of Valsoft Corporation, is looking for an AI Product Builder to create AI-powered products inside their portfolio of vertical software companies. The goal is to build products that customers will pay for, either by helping them operate more efficiently or capturing new revenue opportunities. This role involves building and prototyping AI products with a focus on customer problems and solutions.

Experience:

1–6 years of professional experience in software development, product development, or applied AI

Key Skills:

Full-stack development (React, Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, C#/.NET, REST/GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
AI & Agentic Development (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Azure Cognitive Services, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel)
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) skills
Prompt engineering
AI-enhanced development tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, bolt.new, v0, Replit)
Git, CI/CD, and agile workflows

Qualification:

Demonstrated ability to take an idea from concept to working prototype independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A track record of self-directed work: side projects, freelance products, hackathon wins, or entrepreneurial ventures

Role Focus: • Own top-of-funnel customer discovery across Fluent’s portfolio • Prioritize ruthlessly—manage the product idea pipeline • Prototype fast: move from concept to working, demoable AI-powered product in • Lead live POCs and product demos with customers and stakeholders • Partner with each portfolio company’s R&D team to take validated prototypes into production
