Responsibilities:

• Design and build full stack AI-powered applications from scratch using Galaxy's AI platform
• Build responsive, production-quality frontends in React
• Build robust, scalable backend services in Python integrating with LLMs and enterprise data sources
• Design and implement data layers using PostgreSQL, Databricks, and Redis
• Partner with product and engineering teams to re-architect and scale AI prototypes into production
• Identify and remediate security, scalability, reliability, and performance gaps
• Work within CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes and Terraform for deployment and scaling
• Implement automated testing and observability for production support
• Act as advisor for teams starting AI prototypes providing architectural and product best practices
• Define and evangelize reusable patterns, templates, and starter kits
• Review prototype architectures and provide actionable recommendations
• Bring a product mindset balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and time-to-market
• Collaborate with AI Tech team on platform capabilities and roadmap
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate problems into AI product features
• Mentor engineers on full stack best practices for AI products

Additional responsibilities:

• Act as trusted advisor guiding teams on best practices from prototype start to production
• Own software and infrastructure engineering to ship and maintain products live

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial services domain
• Experience in Capital Markets, Digital Assets/Crypto, or AI infrastructure
• Experience building applications on LLM/agentic AI platforms like AWS Bedrock or SageMaker
• Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings for AI-powered search/retrieval
• Ability to evaluate AI feature quality from product/UX perspective
