Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years industry experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining AI or ML systems
• Up to two years of industry experience may be substituted with an AI centered Master’s/PhD or AI Engineering certifications
• At least 6 years experience developing deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLX, JAX
• At least 3 years experience with container orchestration in a production environment
• At least 3 years experience implementing ethical AI practices including explainable AI, fairness, and bias mitigation
• At least 3 years expertise in advanced prompt engineering techniques and leading prompt engineering teams
• Minimum of 4 years experience productionizing AI models including scalable data pipelines and monitoring systems
• At least 5 years working within Agile-like teams and environments

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field or 2+ years related professional IT/analytics experience
• AI centered Master’s or PhD or AI Engineering certifications (may substitute up to 2 years experience)

Additional responsibilities:

• Stay updated with new AI tools, concepts, and research through documentation and practice
• Communicate technical AI solution details and tradeoffs clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers
• Meet physical requirements of a primarily sedentary role with occasional light exertion
• Keyboard and communicate clearly in person and over telephone

Nice to have:

• Experience with older deep learning libraries like Theano or Caffe
• Graduate level education or research experience supplementing deep learning expertise
