Role: AI Engineer

Location: Hinjawadi, Pune, Maharashtra, India

Experience:

5-10 years of hands-on experience in software development with exposure to machine learning

Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field

Role Focus:

Design, implement, and validate machine learning models
Develop data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training pipelines
Integrate AI components into existing software architecture
Work with structured and semi-structured laboratory data
Support deployment, testing, and monitoring of AI features in production
Collaborate with global teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering best practices
Assist in performance optimization and troubleshooting of AI modules
Document technical approaches and maintain clear model traceability

Nice to have:

Exposure to LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, or generative AI use cases
Experience working with scientific, analytical, or laboratory data
Understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and deployment pipelines
Strong problem-solving ability with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment
Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced product environment
