Qualification:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience

Role Focus:

Leading the architectural vision and technical strategy for Verizon's Agentic AI ecosystem
Designing and building multi-agent frameworks and orchestration layers
Driving the adoption of Large Language Models (LLMs), reasoning engines, and tool-use patterns
Collaborating with product, platform, and data engineering teams
Evaluating and integrating emerging AI agent frameworks
Building guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and observability tooling
Mentoring and elevating senior and staff engineers
Publishing internal technical papers, leading architecture reviews, and representing Verizon's engineering capabilities

Nice to have:

Experience with agent orchestration frameworks
Familiarity with model fine-tuning, RLHF, or model evaluation methodologies
Background in distributed systems, MLOps, or AI infrastructure at hyperscale
Experience integrating agentic systems with enterprise APIs, knowledge graphs, or real-time data streams
Published research or open-source contributions in the AI/ML space
Experience working in telecommunications, network automation, or related industries
Prior Distinguished Engineer, Fellow, or Principal Architect-level role at a large technology organization
Track record of influencing technical direction across multiple teams or business units
