We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our AI Center of Excellence at Greystar-India. The successful candidate will build AI-powered components for solutions across finance & accounting use cases.

Experience:

6 to 10 years of overall software development experience
2-3 years dedicated to building production AI/GenAI/NLP/OCR solutions
Hands-on production experience with large language model APIs
Working experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns
Hands-on experience with at least one OCR/document intelligence platform

Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline from an accredited university

Role Focus:

Partner with business analysts to understand business problems
Work with AI architects to align on technical design
Develop AI-powered components for solutions
Build cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure
Implement enterprise-grade logging
Build configurable solutions
Develop reusable LLM components
Collaborate with automation developers

Additional responsibilities:

Treat every business problem as an opportunity to improve the underlying process
Implement responsible AI practices
Build evaluation harnesses and test sets
Write clean, well-documented, and well-tested code
Support UAT and production cutover
Debug production issues
Contribute to post-go-live hypercare
Stay current on the rapidly evolving AI landscape

Nice to have:

Exposure to or genuine interest in finance & accounting business processes
Prior experience in real estate, fintech, banking, shared services, or finance transformation
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Developer Associate
Comfort building or contributing to web interfaces

Other:

Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Experience with CI/CD on Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Working knowledge of agile/scrum delivery
