Lenovo is looking for an AI/ML Engineer with strong Python skills and a passion for building production-ready AI systems.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
Proficiency in Python
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts (Supervised vs. Unsupervised learning)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into a backend
Solid grasp of Git and collaborative workflows

Role Focus:

Model Integration: deploying and maintaining machine learning models into production environments
Agentic Frameworks: building multi-agent systems that can reason, plan, and execute multi-step tasks
RAG: Understanding of advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
Model Context Protocol (MCP): implementing MCP servers
Data Pipeline Support: cleaning, preprocessing, and augmenting datasets
Prompt Engineering: designing, testing, and iterating on system prompts
Token Optimization: managing context window limits and optimizing token usage
MLOps Basics: experience with CI/CD pipelines tailored for AI
Collaboration: participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical documentation
Continuous Learning: staying up-to-date with the latest AI research, libraries, and tools
